Crap English Translations of French Songs

Hey! I started doing crap translations of classic French songs. Like this song "Samedi Soir Sur La Terre" by Francis Cabrel. It's direct from the ancient Toulousian dialect.
My favorite line is: "after that, man, it's a normal story"

Saturday Night On The Earth by Francis Cabrel

He arrives, she sees him, she wants him
And their eyes do the rest
She puts the fire into everything that he does
After that it’s a classic story
Despite the smoke
Despite the music
She brushes back her hair back, to make him guess
In their figurine eyes
He sits down, he looks around, everywhere
He prepares what to say
Like her, he approaches
And in one instant, their eyes meet
After that, man, it’s a normal story
The glass she accepts, her smile spreads across her face
And in approaching her a little more, he sees the shadows
In those delicate eyes
It’s not even worth it to explain
Where he comes from or what he says

It’s a children’s story
It’s an ordinary story
A Saturday night on the earth
They talk with each other, they rub up against each other, they know too well
They they’ve got to go

They feel obligated to touch each other
After that, man, it’s just an adventure
that it starts in the backseat of a car
He sees blue shadows
Or desire defined in her delicate forehead
It’s not even worth it to explain
Where he comes from or what he says

It’s a children’s story
It’s an ordinary story
A Saturday night on the earth
